Young Dramatist Contest

BLT will repeat last year's successful Young Dramatist Contest, a writing competition for high school students.  Letters will be sent to schools in Pennsylvania and New York announcing the program and setting guidelines.  We are soliciting original one-act plays (20-45 minutes performing time) that will be adjudicated by our panel of judges.  First place cash prize is $500 and the runner up will receive $300.  In addition, the winning play will be presented by BLT as a staged reading at an awards event to be held in Spring 2009. 

The deadline for contest entries is January 31, 2009.
