Presenting "O'Malleys Irish Pub" a one night only event!
Mar 9, 2016
“May you always come for than you go” is an old Irish saying and Bradford Little Theatre hopes that you will come celebrate the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with Bradford Little Theatre.
Bradford Little Theatre is pleased to announce their next special event “O’Malleys Irish Pub” at Togi’s Playhouse, 18 Welch Ave in Bradford. The show, written by John D. Attanasio, is presented in collaboration with Enchante Cabaret. Togi’s Playhouse will be transformed into an Irish pub on Tuesday, March 15th at 7pm.
The show takes place in the 1980s on the lower east side of Manhattan at O’Malleys Irish Pub, where the feisty Miren O’Malley has been trying to run the pub by herself since the passing of her husband. Mother and son, Daniel, disagree on almost everything, including Daniel’s choice of girlfriend.
All Mrs. O’Malley wants is to be able to retire, leave the family business to her son, and have beautiful Catholic grandchildren. Will Mrs. O’Malley be able to change with the times or will her stubbornness put the family’s legacy in jeopardy?
“O’Malleys Irish Pub” includes Irish melodies, Broadway numbers, pop songs, and a wee bit o’ audience participation, including a sing along “pub style” to “When Irish Eyes are Smiling”
Tickets are $7 per person, with a special discount offered if you eat at Togi’s Family Restaurant before the show - bring in your receipt when you purchase your ticket and receive $2 off! In honor of “O’Malleys Irish Pub” Togi’s is offering an Irish dinner special before the event.
Tickets are for sale at Togi’s Family Restaurant, can be reserved by calling Chelsea at 814-598-9956, and will also be available at the door.
